Ukraine’s ministry of social policy has stated that from seven to nine million Ukrainian citizens are working abroad for short periods, while close to 3.2 million Ukrainians are working abroad on a regular basis.
As many Eastern European countries are facing labour shortages , the number of Ukrainian migrant workers has increased. According to the ministry, highly skilled personnel, as well as specialists in the physical, mathematical and chemical spheres, as well as IT and medical professionals, are in demand.
